Prof. Dr. Julia Voss

Julia Voss is an art historian and journalist. She teaches as a honorary professor at Leuphana University of Lüneburg and writes the art column “Fragen Sie Julia Voss” (“Ask Julia Voss”) in the Sunday edition of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Prior to this, she lead the art department of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. In February 2020, she will publish “Hilma af Klint: Leben und Werk 1862-1944” (“Hilma af Klint: Life and Work 1862-1944”) a biography of the Swedish pioneer of abstraction whose estate consists of more than 1,000 works and 26,000 pages of text.
